An accredited executive coach based in Malta and working internationally, combining an accountant's discipline with an EQ & somatic practitioner's depth, and living the integration I guide others toward.
Cognitive and emotional intelligence aren't enemies; they're partners, and the leaders who last know it. Most of us were trained to choose: numbers over feelings, discipline over realness, terrified that if we bring both into the room the masks will fall.
They fall anyway. So I don't choose. I work with all of you, head, heart and body, so you lead with everything you've got and still keep your edge.
This is deliberate work, with a select few who share my values and want to leave a lasting mark, in their own lives and in the lives they inspire.

I didn't start with emotional intelligence. I started with social anxiety, depression, and a deep sense of not belonging. No one taught me that the energy I was born with was something to value.
So I did what made sense: I tried to understand it from the outside. A degree in Communications and Psychology, years as a language interpreter, then audit and finance, more than fifteen years in hard numbers inside organisations that trade in certainty, including multinational entities, and I was good at it.
For years I was told to wear a mask, and I tried. It felt like a betrayal I couldn't name, but that same pull to understand the world kept me on national radio for over twenty years and in front of rooms as a public speaker. Still, the sharpest decisions carried a second signal below the data, and I'd learned to ignore it. Most leaders have.
So I kept looking, deeper, into the things the corner office quietly dismisses: massage therapy, Reiki, yoga, martial arts, family constellations, nervous-system work. Not as a departure, but as the missing half. The body keeps the data the mind edits out, and learning to understand it made me a better strategist, not a softer one.
Then my daughter was born. Through her eyes, I saw what I'd never seen in myself: energy that wasn't broken, just un-nurtured. That's when it clicked: emotional intelligence isn't something you acquire, it's a language to return to. The bridge between the logic we use to survive and the energy we need to thrive.
Whole Intelligence is what happened when I stopped choosing between them. Everything I do now sits at that intersection: the accountant's discipline and the practitioner's depth, held in one room, underpinned by over 25 years of unlearning and relearning. Because I lived the split, and I know its cost.
You can be brilliant and successful and still find that, in this much uncertainty, logic alone runs out of road. Here's why the split costs you, and what closing it makes possible.
Logic in public, intuition in the drawer. Most high performers already sense both; they just don't have a credible reason to trust the second one.
Not incapacity. You have both intelligences. Most leaders only run one, and pay for the other in people, presence and burnout.
Lead with both and you show up sharper and more present. The leader today's environment actually calls for.
Alexia Stafrace is a warranted accountant with a foundation degree in Communication and Psychology, and over three decades of experience across multinational entities.
She is an ICF-accredited executive coach and an EQ & somatic practitioner, one of the few who can connect hard data with how people actually work. Her case is straightforward: emotional intelligence (EQ) is a performance metric, and it's what joins people, technology and profit. Her work brings whole intelligence into the business world through strengths-based coaching.
Before moving into leadership development, she spent over twenty years as a national radio broadcaster, and has spent more than 25 years observing what makes people tick, including herself. Today she tutors Public Speaking to MBA students, coaches executives, facilitates workshops, and speaks globally. Her message to the world: cognitive intelligence and emotional intelligence aren't opposites; the rare few lead with both. Based in Malta. Works internationally.
These aren't a list. They move in sequence: one opens the door to the next, and together they become leadership presence.
The kind where you take responsibility for your own actions, and the habits that keep you small, whether others are watching, or not. Unconditional love is the unconditioning. This process is humility in action. The courage to look honestly at yourself first, undo, and redo so you can inspire others to do the same.
Everything is connected. The more you connect with yourself, the more clearly you see how you interconnect with others, and the more you have to give. This is sustained in nurtured communities.
As you connect, you integrate; as you integrate, you become more integral, more whole, more aligned with your purpose. And wholeness shows: it's the executive presence that people trust and feel the moment you enter a room.
Values are what I live by. Principles are how I show up in the room.
Coaching is a partnership, not a performance. We work side by side. You stay in the driver's seat, and I bring the map, the mirror, and the questions that move you forward.
Clear expectations, honest feedback, and rates set in advance, so you always know exactly where you stand.
Real-life solutions that hold, reached by understanding the root, not just treating the symptom. Depth, always in service of what actually works.
The Business of Wonder is where I put the whole philosophy into words: leadership seen through my daughter's eyes.
